All Saints strives to be Biblically faithful…
Almighty God, help us to be guided by your word because your Scriptures are a divine gift to us that helps us follow our savior faithfully.
Blessed Lord, who caused all Holy Scriptures to be written for our learning: Grant us so to hear them, read, mark, learn, and inwardly digest them, that by patience and the comfort of your holy Word we may embrace and ever hold fast the blessed hope of everlasting life, which you have given us in our Savior Jesus Christ; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. (Collect for the 2nd Sunday of Advent)
Biblical Texts for reflection: 2 Peter 1:19–20; 2 Timothy 3:16; Matthew 4:4; Psalm 119.

All Saints strives to be sacramental …
Dearest Christ, in your last meeting with your followers, you shared a meal of bread and wine and instructed your disciples to “do this in remembrance of me.” When we share in communion we encounter you, experience your love for us, and proclaim the good news of your death and resurrection until you come again. Help us to be forever shaped by your sacrificial love.
Almighty Father, whose most dear Son, on the night before he suffered, instituted the Sacrament of his Body and Blood: Mercifully grant that we may receive it in thankful remembrance of Jesus Christ our Savior, who in these holy mysteries gives us a pledge of eternal life; and who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen. (Prayer for Maundy Thursday)
Biblical Texts for reflection: 1 Cor 11:24–28; Matt 26:18–32; Luke 24:13–32)

All Saints strives to be Multiethnic…
Lord, you save all who believe in you without respect to ethnicity or race. By your Holy Spirit, gather the different cultures into our church. And then, lord, help our unity across difference paint a picture of your coming kingdom. Be with us as we try to embody now the diversity we will experience when we worship together in the new creation.
O God, who created all peoples in your image: We thank you for the diversity of races and cultures in this world. Show us your presence in those who differ from us, and enrich our lives with their fellowship, until our knowledge of your love is made perfect in our love for all your children; through Jesus Christ our Lord (Thankgiving for the diversity of races and cultures).

O God, you made us in your own image, and you have redeemed us through your Son Jesus Christ: Look with compassion on the whole human family; take away the arrogance and hatred which infect our hearts; break down the walls that separate us; unite us in bonds of love; and work through our struggle and confusion to accomplish your purposes on earth; that, in your good time, all nations and races may serve you in harmony around your heavenly throne; through Jesus Christ our Lord (Prayer for the Human family)

Almighty and everlasting God, you govern all things in heaven and on earth: Mercifully hear our prayers, and grant that in this Congregation the pure Word of God may be preached and the Sacraments duly administered. Strengthen and confirm the faithful; protect and guide the children; visit and relieve the sick; turn and soften the wicked; arouse the careless; recover the fallen; restore the penitent; remove all hindrances to the advancement of your truth; and bring us all to be of one heart and mind within your holy Church, to the honor and glory of your Name; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Merciful Father, our societies are not the kingdom of God. Therefore, in their workings they sometimes reveal the damage done by human sinfulness and greed. Help us to resist those who misuse power to oppress the vulnerable.
Almighty God, you created us in your own image: Grant us grace to contend fearlessly against evil and to make no peace with oppression; and help us to use our freedom rightly in the establishment of justice in our communities and among the nations, to the glory of your holy Name; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.
