Paul was born in Korea and raised in Chicago, Paul has deep spiritual roots in the Korean immigrant church.

After moving to California to pursue a degree in business administration at Pasadena City College, Paul found a church home at Christ Church Sierra Madre. While serving as a worship ministry assistant, he met his wife, Tabitha, through the young adults ministry.

Paul has a strong passion for youth ministry and seeks to inspire the next generation to grow in their faith. In his free time, he enjoys breaking (a style of dance), playing electric guitar, and exploring his love for cooking.
