Advent Book Club

Date and Time: Sundays Dec. 1, 8, 15, 22 at 5pm. Location: 14 South Washington Street Naperville, IL 60540

Starting December 1st, All Saints Naperville and Friends will be hosting a weekly book club event focusing on Advent: the Season of Hope written by clergy couple Tish Harrison Warren and Jonathan Warren Pagán. This a great way to prepare our hearts and minds for the Christmas season.

The primary author, Tish Harrison Warren is a priest in the Anglican Church in North America. She is the author of Liturgy of the Ordinary: Sacred Practices in Everyday Life (Christianity Today's 2018 Book of the Year) and Prayer in the Night: For Those Who Work, or Watch, or Weep (Christianity Today's 2022 Book of the Year and the 2022 ECPA Christian Book of the Year). Recently, Tish wrote a weekly newsletter for The New York Times and was a columnist for Christianity Today. Her articles and essays have appeared in Religion News Service, Christianity Today, Comment Magazine, The Point Magazine, The New York Times, and elsewhere.

There will be horderves, a discussion on key themes from selected chapters, and a time for prayer. All are invited!

Rev. Harrison-Warren has agreed to join in one of our conversations via zoom. We hope to see you there.
